The timeline below is funded by you the taxpayer and is used to tell our kids about Srebrenica in Bosnia. They are taught fake history. I discuss why so many folks, especially the young, fail to grasp what a holocaust really is, what genocide really is and why it is more than ethnic cleansing. In part this is a history lesson for the young in part a sad tale about why fewer and fewer folks will say #NeverAgain and mean it. We celebrate HolocaustMemorialDay with a candle in this house. I have written countless articles on the evils of anti-semitism and the persecution of Israel. So it saddens me greatly that the Holocaust Memorial Trust is lying about and rewriting history to gain sympathy for its cause. Re-writing history is one of the countless evils of the Nazis. We are better than them are we not?

I follow the account @AuschwitzMuseum on twitter. Each day, in fact several times a day, it sends out the bare details of someone sent to Auschwitz, usually accompanied by a photo. When they arrived and what was their fate. Say what you like about the Germans, they were damn good at record keeping so in most cases we do know the exact fate. Each day you see the smiling faces of little boys and girls in happier times. Most of those were sent straight to the gas chambers. It is an upsetting twitter account to folow but an unpleasant reminder that one’s daily upsets are really trivial, they mean nothing at all. Today’s tweet is below.

Yes that Martin McGuinness, a man who murdered people. A man who was a senior commander in the IRA which killed folks ranging from a 6 month old baby to numerous grandmothers and grandfathers, nurses, teachers, folks with no connection to the RUC or British Army, an organisation that engaged in systematic ethnic cleansing of Ulster Protestants. The City Hall in San Francisco is a bastion of political correctness, backing every “woke” cause going Whatever… it is the taxes of San Franciscans which pays for it all so not my battle. But its latest initiative is just so utterly offensive, it is a step too far.

I noted yesterday the ludicrous line being spun by the German Police that the axe wielding chap on the rampage at Dusseldorf station was from the former Yugoslavia, a country that had not existed for 16 years. Within minutes they had been able to say that the man had psychological issues. if only the NHS was so efficient in terms of diagnosis there would be no crisis. Yet the Police could not say where the chap came from. And the liberal media - in as much as they covered this at all - played along.
